With Fox News, as the saying goes, one hand washes the other. If somebody on the "fair & balanced" Fox "news" network promotes a right wing meme in a baseless and denigrating manner, the video and transcript work their way into that bastion of intellectualism and tolerance known as Fox Nation. Last night, Bill O'Reilly pimped another Planned Parenthood "sting" video done by the pro-life prom queen, Lila Rose. The video and transcript are on Fox Nation. The title couldn't be any more propagandistic: "The Real War on Women, Sex Selection Abortion Thrives in America Courtesy of Planned Parenthood." Never mind propaganda. This is one big fat LIE.
The blatant and incendiary propaganda is astounding. Based on advice given by one employee of one Planned Parenthood, Fox Nation makes the absolutely baseless and false claim that sex selection abortion is "thriving." WTF!!! The "fair & balanced" Fox Nation totally ignores Guttmacher data which indicates that there is no evidence "that the US has a problem with sex-selective abortions, nor do they indicate an increasing gender discrepancy in the American birth rate."
But what is even more offensive is that the Fox Nation thread DOES NOT include the information that Planned Parenthood terminated the employee in the video for not following protocol. Nor do they include Planned Parenthood's statement that they do not condone sex selection abortions.
As far as the "real war on women," Fox Nation has neglected to cover the recent spate of arson and burglaries directed against women's reproductive clinics in Georgia. Who knows, maybe the perpetrator is an upstanding resident of Fox Nation! Hopefully, theTexas clinic that was the subject of Lila Rose's video and Bill O'Reilly "pro-life" tirade (He hoped "something" would happen to the worker) won't be the next target - courtesy of the "fair & balanced" Fox News!
