Bill O'Reilly & Janine Turner Whine About Poor Hollywood Conservatives

Reported by Priscilla - October 8, 2011 -

As the mouthpiece for the right wing, which hates those Hollywood liberals, it's not surprising to see the rare species of right wing Hollywood types stop by Fox News for some free face time which lets the world know that they're not dead. Their appearances also serve to promote some right wing message which, in many cases, incorporates what Jon Stewart has defined as the genius of Fox; i.e. showcasing conservative victimization. Such was the case during Bill O'Reilly's recent interview with actress Janine Turner who starred in "Northern Exposure" and recently had a role in "Friday Night Lights." She gave herself some additional exposure as a Sarah Palin fan and Tea Party darling which, in turn, provided even more exposure on Fox which actively promoted Sarah Palin and the Tea Party. Fox's Chris Wallace described her as a modern day Paul Revere. In pimping Turner's website, where she talks about abolishing the 17the Amendment, Megyn Kelly praised Turner (who doesn't have an undergraduate degree) as an "expert on the Federalist Papers." During her interview with Wallace, Turner whined about how conservatives in Hollywood are treated so poorly. Now that the tea kettle is losing its steam, Turner needs more exposure which she got on Tuesday night's Factor where she continued to whine about poor, persecuted Hollywood conservatives.

O'Reilly validated her whine about how it's hard to be a conservative in Hollywood where evil libruls bash the Tea Party yadda, yadda, yadda. She's upset about how conservative actors keep quiet so that they don't "tee-off" directors like Spielberg. Oh, right. Considering that Turner wouldn't score a walk-on from Spielberg, I don't believe that he really cares about anything she says. As if! But Bill O'Reilly and Fox News do so it's all good....
