Hannity Excludes Alan Colmes From 15th Anniversary Show
Reported by Ellen - October 7, 2011 -
Sean Hannity aired a special 15th anniversary show last night that somehow did not include his co-host for 12 years, Alan Colmes – other than by showing a few brief video clips from the old Hannity & Colmes shows. That was rude enough. But at the end, Hannity offered a heartfelt thanks to boss Roger Ailes and to his audience. Yet not a word of recognition or thanks went to Colmes. Classy as ever, Hannity!
Hannity paused at the end of his show to say:
"I want to take a moment and say something personally here. It was 15 years ago tomorrow that we started here on the Fox News Channel… I want to personally thank my boss, Roger Ailes. 15 years ago, he gave me the opportunity and he literally – Boss, if you’re out there watching, you changed my life and I personally want to say thank you for it. I couldn’t have imagined 15 years ago that all these wonderful things would happen in our life.
And I want to thank all of you here, all of our fans, all of our viewers, YOU make Fox News Channel the huge success it is. And thank you all for all that you’ve done for us.”
Don’t you think he could have at least acknowledged the work that Colmes did for 12 of those 15 years?
