Ann Coulter To Sarah Palin: Fish Or Cut Bait With Your Doomed Presidential Run
Reported by Ellen - September 7, 2011 -
You have to admire Sarah Palin's ability to antagonize her allies. A few weeks ago, Karl Rove (not a real ally but he'd probably shut up and play one if she had any real political chops) blasted her on the air for her attention-getting tactics in the 2012 GOP presidential primary. Now Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham strongly suggested it's time for her to get off the stage and let the electable candidates run.
Although the video has the misleading title of Reading Sarah's Crystal Ball on FoxNews.com, Laura Ingraham's scripted introduction - noting that a Fox News poll found that 74% of Americans don't want Palin to run for president in 2012 - suggested Fox News producers are backing the establishment and nudging Palin off the stage.
Ingraham called Palin's potential candidacy, "a long tease," before adding,."At some point... that tease has just got to deliver or just go away.".
Coulter was more blunt. She said, "It doesn't seem likely that with those numbers (Palin) would run. Uncharacteristically, Coulter also said, "it doesn't matter" if the low polling is due to liberal media bias or not... There is such a thing as electable."
"Fish or cut bait," Coulter admonished Palin. Coulter also complained that Palin's fans attack over any little criticism (Coulter even went so far as to cite Palin's voice as one "theoretical" criticism). "I'm starting to dislike her because of her fans... and she does get things wrong."
