Mike Huckabee To Deliver Keynote Address At Personhood Mississippi Event

While Bill O'Reilly is constantly braying about the evil, secular "far-left," he doesn't seem to have a problem with the prevailing group think of the religious far right whose views do pose a danger to reproductive freedom for American women. Bill's Fox News soul brother, Mike Huckabee, is one of those far right folks who pursue an anti-choice agenda which well earns them the sobriquet "American Taliban." I don't know what folks at CNN and MSNBC do in their spare time; but I doubt it reaches the level of radicalism engaged in by Mr. Huckabee who will be featured as a key note speaker for the "Personhood Mississippi" dinner on September 8th. This group is supporting the Mississippi "personhood" initiative which will be voted on in November. If passed, "personhood" will be defined from the moment of conception. In other words, fertilized zygotes will have all the rights accorded to those who have already been born. As such, this newly conferred "personhood" status could mean that certain types of birth control could be banned and women could be prosecuted if they have miscarriages. You could say that this is pretty far-right stuff. Somehow I don't think that Bill's nemeses over at MSNBC and the NY Times engage in anything more radical than a golf game on their time off. Anyway, if you're in Jackson, Mississippi and have $50 to spare, save the date!
