Brand New News Hounds Feature: Fox News Tweet Du Jour

Reported by Aunty Em - June 14, 2011 -

One of the joys of Twitter is how you can follow people—like those meat puppets at Fox News f’rinstance—without them really being aware you are there. (Unless you speak up.) As near as I can tell I am now following every Fox News personality, including Sean Hannity's Hair. The tweets that come out of these folks are no less unfair and unbalanced than everything else connected to News Corp, which should come as no surprise. However, the fun doesn’t stop there; Often the tweets coming from that gang of propagandists are hilarious for their sheer stupidity. What’s more, some of the typos are truly precious. Which is why News Hounds has decided to launch this new feature called Fox News Tweet Du Jour. Kicking off the premier episode of FNTDJ is Brian Kilmeade, one of the Three Stooges on the Curvy Couch on the show known as Fox and Friends.

One of Brian’s tweets from this morning is such a classic, it not only deserved to launch this new feature, but needed to be preserved for posterity. [Since users can always delete their tweets, preservation is very important.] Today Brian wanted to alert the viewers to two things: 1). It was Flag Day; 2). It was also the birthday of the United States Army. Take a look at how Brian chose to express himself:

I wonder what a duel between the U.S. Flag and the U.S. Army would look like.
