Fox Nation Closed Comments On Thread About Michelle Obama's Near-Miss

As many already know, an air traffic controller's mistake nearly caused a horrendous mid-air collision involving a plane carrying First Lady Michelle Obama. Not surprisingly, Fox Nation has the story. What is surprising is that comments are closed on that thread. Considering the kinds of comments we're used to finding on the "civil-discourse-loving" site, I'm willing to bet that either it had received a number of vile comments lamenting Mrs. Obama's survival or the editors knew that would happen. Either way, it speaks volumes about Fox Nation's readers.
Well, at least the moderators did something to keep the hate down.
