Donald Trump On Whether Or Not Israel Should Attack Iran’s Nuclear Facilities: I Was The Grand Marshal Of The Israeli Day Parade 10 Years Ago

This ought to be Donald Trump’s “I can see Russia from my house” moment.
During Part 3 of what was supposed to be Sean Hannity’s “exclusive” interview with Donald Trump (not counting Bill O’Reilly’s, Geraldo Rivera’s and Greta Van Susteren’s previous interviews or his weekly gig on Fox & Friends) last night, Hannity asked whether Trump would support an Israeli military strike against Iran, a cause near and dear to Hannity’s heart. Trump's answer was unintentionally hilarious.
Hannity: If the Israelis, if you’re president, the Israelis see the need that they, for their national security, gotta take (Iran’s nuclear facilities) out, would you support them, and do you think it’s in our best, geographical, political interest to do so?
Trump: Well, first of all, I was the Grand Marshal of the Israeli Day Parade 10 years ago when, believe me, it was dangerous, because there was a little war going on and a lot of problems and I walked down Fifth Avenue. And Jewish friends of mine still remember that day. I have a park named after me in Israel that I donated. And I’m a big fan of Israel.
I will say this. I don’t understand. I have so many Jewish friends that are big Obama fans and they’re supporting Obama and giving tremendous amounts… Obama’s terrible for Israel.
Then Trump changed the subject to criticizing Obama for being “all talk” about the Wisconsin labor protests and then added, “Unfortunately, he’s also action, but it’s always the wrong action.”
Combine this with his equivocating on whether or not he’ll run as an independent, his ability to get along with everyone (and still make a lot of enemies) and about his past support for Democrats, and it’s hard to believe this guy will ever win the nomination, much less mount a serious challenge to Obama.
