Why Is Fox News Concerned About Christian Church Renting Space To Muslims?

Reported by Priscilla - February 21, 2011 -

It started, last week, as a news video on Fox which reported that a Memphis Protestant church is allowing Muslims to use the church for worship services until the Muslims' new mosque is completed. Lauren Green then wrote an article about this on the Fox website. On Saturday morning, Mike Huckabee weighed in on the weekend Fox & Friends. He appeared to be quite angry about the decision by his fellow Christian pastor - even comparing the presence of Muslims, at a church, to pornographic movies being played at the church. For his weekly Sunday Fox & Friends sermonette, Fox chaplain Father Jonathan Morris had a more nuanced and intellectual approach; although he said that his church would not permit this to occur. This morning, on Fox & Friends, Ainsley Earhardt conducted an interview with the pastor of the aforementioned church and another pastor who disagrees with the decision. Why is this even an issue? In other words, what's up with this?
