Greta Van Susteren Joins Board Of National Institute for Civil Discourse

Reported by Ellen - February 21, 2011 -

Greta Van Susteren considers herself lucky to be part of the newly created National Institute for Civil Discourse at the University of Arizona. Former presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton will serve as honorary chairmen of what is described as a nonpartisan center for debate, research, education and policy about civility in public discourse created in the aftermath of the Tucson massacre last month. I applaud Van Susteren for taking part in such an effort and I will say that she personally walks the walk of civility in discourse. However, if she really, truly believes that there's a need for more of that kind of behavior, she ought to take a look at her own network and start working for changes right there.
