Fox News Doesn't Want Viewers To Hear What Giffords Mourner Wants To Say To Sarah Palin

Reported by Ellen - January 9, 2011 -

"We report, you decide" Fox News began and then quickly cut away from a vigil for the gravely wounded Rep. Gabrielle Giffords last night just as the speaker said, "And I say to you, Sarah Palin..." The abruptness of the cut, the lack of an official "break" and the timing all point to one conclusion: Fox didn't want its viewers to hear the criticisms that have been leveled at Palin for her incendiary rhetoric against Giffords and other Democrats who voted for health care reform. After the bill passed last March, Palin posted on her Facebook page a graphic depicting crosshairs on the districts of 20 House Democrats, including Giffords', who voted for the bill. Palin tweeted, "Don't Retreat, Instead - RELOAD! Pls see my Facebook page."

A friend and I heard this coverage last night via satellite radio while we were out of town and I was away from a DVD recorder. Fortunately, Crooks and Liars' John Amato got the video.
