Fox News Gigs May Be Keeping Four GOP Presidential Candidates From Officially Running

On this Morning's edition of Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos appeared as a guest during a segment about 2012 Republican candidates and made the startling claim that four potential candidates - Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum- might be postponing their announcements to run. Why? Because, apparently, announcing their candidacy now would be a conflict of interest with their FOX NEWS contracts - which are benefits in terms of money and exposure to potential campaigns. Watch Claire Shipman's immediate reaction and tell me you wouldn't feel the same way, considering that FOX NEWS had no problems with this type of conflicted interest during the 2010 midterms.
