Megyn Kelly Thinks It's "Shocking" DOJ Calls Health Care Law "Constitutional"

Reported by Ellen - December 13, 2010 -

In her reporting on a federal district judge's ruling that a key provision of the health care reform law is unconstitutional, Megyn Kelly - whose show is supposed to be part of Fox News' "objective" news lineup - called it "shocking" that the Department of Justice disagreed.

After Fox's Shannon Bream finished a report on the ruling, Kelly said, "I want to tell our viewers - as Shannon was delivering that report - we got this shocking update from the Justice Department. It believes the health care law is consitutional." Kelly made an I-couldn't-make-this-stuff-up kind of a face to the camera and added snidely, "So there you go. The administration continues to believe (she gave a scornful chuckle) that it's law is constitutional and they believe that they will ultimately prevail on this health care law. The reason that's significant is because it comes directly from the Department of Justice which doesn't normally comment on these things but they gave us basically a one-liner saying they disagree with the ruling."
