Fox News Hires Another Disgraced Journalist

Since I don't live anywhere near the Beltway, I was not familiar with Fox News' latest hire, Doug McKelway. But I'll bet he fits right in on the "fair and balanced" network. As The Washington Post reports - in an article that quotes moi - McKelway was fired for gross insubordination and misconduct after getting into a shouting match with his boss at local station WJLA after wrongly claiming that President Obama received "more campaign contributions from BP than anybody else in history." But wait, there's more.
WaPo's Paul Farhi also noted, "Last year, during an interview program on WJLA's sister cable station, NewsChannel 8, (McKelway) got into an argument on the air with a gay activist who advocated "outing" closeted politicians. As the conversation grew more heated, McKelway threatened to punch the man in the nose." That activist, by the way, was Raw Story's Mike Rogers.
