Hannity Guest: Disillusioned Obama Voters May Turn To Someone Articulate And Compelling Like Palin

Reported by Ellen - November 20, 2010 -

Kate Obenshain, a regular panelist on Hannity, argued that Sarah Palin or someone “very articulate and compelling” like her “can reach out… very effectively” to young voters who voted for Obama in 2012.

You may recall that during the 2008 election, Obenshain argued on Hannity & Colmes that “it matters to our troops” that then-candidate Barack Obama was not wearing a flag lapel-pin. It doesn’t look like she’s become any less inane since then.

Those voters who came out in droves and voted for Barack Obama are disillusioned. They thought that they were voting for real hope and change. And now… they haven’t turned against him yet but they’re standing back, wondering what happened. And they are looking for an alternative. And someone like Sarah Palin or somebody who’s very articulate and compelling and has a positive, optimistic message can reach out, I think, very effectively to this newly engaged, younger (unintelligible).

It’s quite possible that someone “very articulate and compelling” could win over many who voted for Obama last time. But it’s just laughable to put Sarah Palin in that category. On the other hand, I’m more than willing to give her a shot.
