Ann Coulter Voter Fraud Case Going Forward
Reported by Ellen - October 4, 2010 -
I've received official word that Ann Coulter's voter fraud case is scheduled to appear on the October 14, 2010 public session before the Connecticut State Elections Enforcement Commission. Given Fox News' endless concern with voter fraud, can we expect coverage by the "fair and balanced" network of that very crime having possibly been committed by one of its own favorite pundits? UPDATED
As I've previously posted, this is Coulter's second time facing voter fraud charges. She wriggled out of a Palm Beach County, FL investigation with the help from an ex-boyfriend in the FBI. I recommend Brad Friedman's excellent run down of the whole case, including a very persuasive argument that Coulter likely committed tax fraud as well. Friedman has another report on the Connecticut case worth reading.
UPDATE: It's not clear what the purpose of this hearing is: to convict Coulter of voter fraud, to dismiss the investigation, remand it further investigation, refer it to law enforcement or some other action.
