AK Tea Party Candidate Refuses To Support Palin For President

Reported by Ellen - September 24, 2010 -

Earlier this week, I noted that Alaska's Tea Party and Sarah Palin-endorsed GOP candidate for the U.S. Senate, Joe Miller, refused to tell Fox News Sunday's Chris Wallace that Palin is qualified to be president. Yesterday (9/23/10), Neil Cavuto asked Miller if he'd support Palin for president. He ducked the question, saying there are "a number of great candidates out there... Certainly, Palin is on the top of that ticket, you've got a number of folk that any one of which would be better than President Obama... This is not a race about Palin or Murkowski." When pressed about any possible "quid pro quo" when Palin endorsed him, Miller added that Palin is "raising the level of dialogue" and doing "phenomenal things" for the country but that he does not "do deals."

The discussion about Palin starts at about 7:45 in the video below.
