Bill O’Reilly Criticizes Justin Bieber & Kim Kardashian For Bad Behavior!?

Reported by Priscilla - August 22, 2010 -

I get it. I know that Bill O’Reilly is the product of a solidly middle class, Irish Catholic household during a time when daddies brought home the bacon, mommies worshipped the daddies, minorities knew their place, sex only took place within marriage, and gays didn’t exist. So it wasn’t surprising to hear Bill’s rant about how Jennifer Aniston’s comment, that mommies don't always need daddies, was destructive to society because Bill O’Reilly can’t really understand anything that deviates from his “traditional” world view. But why would Bill attack teen singing sensation Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian for posing for pictures together? Why would he suggest that the “Graduate” themed photos were inappropriate? Is Bill just being a “traditionalist” scold or is there something else, best dealt with by a trained therapist, going on here? Has Bill given up on scrutinizing Miley Cyrus for inappropriateness? Inquiring minds want to know.

Bieber and Kardashian recently posed for a photo shoot in “Elle.” Kim, on her website, posted this comment: "I just received the pics from the shoot and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! Justin and I had such a fun time together at the shoot.” So nothing to see here, move along. But not so for Bill O’Reilly who, during this week’s culture warrior segment, suggested that there was something inappropriate about the photos. Bill reported on the pictures with Bieber "who is 16 years old" and joked (?) about Kardashian being “42,” He was told by one of his “culture warriors” that Kim is 29. Bill played a segment of a video showing Bieber and Kardashian running along a beach while holding hands. He explaned that the photo shot was “reminiscent” of the movie “The Graduate” in which Ann Bancroft and Dustin Hoffman “had this little thing.” He showed a photo of Bieber and Kardashian in the water, with wet clothing. He babbled about how he doesn’t know Justin Bieber (whom he thinks looks like Ringo Starr) and “the other one, she’s in a dress, what does that mean? I don’t know.” He asked “culture warrior” Margaret Hoover if this bothered her. She said “it was gross” because it’s like a prepubescent 16 year old having an affair with a “celebutante” who is famous for doing nothing except being famous.” (Uh, Margaret, check out your “birds & bees.” 16 year old kids have reached puberty. Trust me). Bill, seeming a bit agitated, said “so you took offense.” He asked the other “warrior” Rebecca Diamond, if she took offense. She laughed and said that this is every 16 year old male’s dream..” Bill interrupted and said "I wanted to be a baseball player, I didn't want to hang around with Kim Kardashian..” Diamond said “you weren’t into women when you were 16?” Bill responded “No I wasn’t. I had a baseball bat and ice skates! That's what I was doing. I will tell you this. If a 16-year-old girl was pictured with a 29-year-old man in any of that, he'd be in big trouble." (“Any of that?”) Hoover agreed and Diamond said “they got flack for this.” Bill said “do they know it?” Hoover said "no, they don’t."

Comment: The photos were based on a movie (in which the age difference between the fictional “Benjamin” and “Mrs. Robinson” was much greater than that between Kardashian and Bieber) and weren’t salacious. If anything, they were silly and an opportunity for Kardashian to show off fancy couture. Nobody was having sex despite the stimuli received in Bill O’Reilly’s big head. The scenes depicted a fantasy. If a sixteen year old starlet did a similar fantasy shot with – say – a Jonas brother, I don’t see an issue. Besides, 16 is the legal age of emancipation in many states. But again, there was nothing “dirty” about “any of that.” And how bout Bill not being interested in girls at 16!!! But I’ll leave you with a "traditionalist" fantasy that was actually said by somebody and entered into a court record:

"You would basically be in the shower and then I would come in and I'd join you and you would have your back to me and I would take that little loofa thing and kinda' soap up your back... rub it all over you, get you to relax, hot water... and urn... you know, you'd feel the tension drain out of you and uh you still would be with your back to me then I would kinda' put my arm - it's one of those mitts, those loofa mitts you know, so 1 got my hands in it... and I would put it around front, kinda' rub your tummy a little bit with it, and then with my other hand I would start to massage your boobs, get your nipples really hard... 'cuz I like that and you have really spectacular boobs...."

Bill O’Reilly should know about being “inappropriate.”
