Neil Cavuto Not Happy About Prop 8 Decision?

Reported by Priscilla - August 5, 2010 -

Yesterday, Neil Cavuto interrupted his show with a “News Alert” on the California judicial decision that Proposition 8, which banned same sex marriage, is unconstitutional. Cavuto described it as a “shocker.” Judge Andrew Napolitano provided an objective summary of the decision. After Napolitano's conclusion, Cavuto did his patented “opinion” commentary in which he offers his view of an issue, done in a sad, soft voice and occasionally accented with a sigh. His reaction to the court decision was vintage Cavuto. In a sad, soft voice, Neil said that the California judge was “essentially overruling the will of the people in that state saying gay marriage is fine and their initiative on what they voted was not so fine…” Hey Neil, back in 1967 there were 15 states in which the will of the people was that interracial marriage should be prohibited. Thanks to that pesky “anchor baby” 14th Amendment, that way of thinking was consigned to the scrap heap of history. What say you about that, Mr. Cavuto?
