Mike Huckabee Palling Around With Christian Extremists?

During the last presidential campaign, Fox opinion “News” wasted no opportunity to describe Barack Obama’s tangential relationship with former radical and present day college professor, Bill Ayers, as an association with a terrorist. So it’s ironic that Fox personality and Christian minister, Mike Huckabee, will be getting an award from some Christians who are hardly mainstream. Not only will Huckabee will be headlining the “Heroes of Faith” Gala in August; but he will be receiving an award from the sponsoring group, “Vision America” – a group whose president, Rick Scarborough, is considered to be among America’s most radical Christians. Just to give you an idea where Rick is coming from, he recently claimed that our nation is sliding into “sexual anarchy led by sodomites.” Another Christian, who will be receiving an award is a doctor, Steve F. Hotze who believes, among other exotic things, that disease is caused by sin, wives can only work outside the home with permission of the husband, and “biblical spanking” is cool. Oh, and speaking of sodomy, check out the interview with Huckabee in the New Yorker where he says that his opposition to gay marriage stems from the “ick factor.” Perhaps opposition to a Huckabee presidency stems from an “ick factor?”
