Fox News Finally Gets Around To Discussing Rand Paul And The Civil Rights Act Controversy

Reported by Ellen - May 21, 2010 -

On Wednesday (5/19/10), an uproar ensued after Rand Paul, fresh from his Tea Party victory that won him the GOP nomination for the Senate race in Kentucky, criticized a section of the Civil Rights Act. Yet Fox News overlooked the controversy, even though Paul appeared on the "we report, you decide" network 21 times in the past year, including The O'Reilly Factor that same night, until Thursday (5/20/10), when America Live with Megyn Kelly discussed the issue with John Stossel.

During that interview, Stossel defended the right to be racist. More on that in an upcoming post.
