Hannity Eager To Cut All Entitlements And Call Democrats "Cheapskates," But Still Not So Eager To Discuss Freedom Concert Finances

Reported by Ellen - April 19, 2010 -

Sean Hannity told his "Great American Panel" Friday night that he'd cut spending by cutting "everything across the board. I would end entitlements." As guest Jacques DeGraff noted, not even the Republican Governors Association would go that far. But then Hannity, facing accusations about how little money from his pricey Freedom Concerts actually goes to charity, had the nerve to attack VIce President Joe Biden for being a "cheapskate" in the amount he gives to charity. With video.

"Why aren't they more generous?" "Great American" Hannity asked, sneering at that large section of the country that calls itself Democratic or liberal.

And I believe that's the same Sean Hannity under fire for not revealing how much of the pricey ($100 or so) tickets he's selling for his Freedom Concerts actually goes to Oliver North's charity, Freedom Alliance - the same Freedom Alliance that was recently downgraded by Charity Navigator from four stars to two. And those same Freedom Concerts were the subject of a complaint to the IRS by the watchdog group CREW and VoteVets.org for suggesting that all concert ticket sale revenue goes directly to scholarships for children of killed and wounded service members.
