Fox News Thinks Glenn Beck More Important Than The War On Terror

Reported by Ellen - January 8, 2010 -

You can hardly turn on Fox News these days without hearing someone attacking the Obama administration for not taking the "war on terror" seriously enough. And yet, the "we report, you decide" network cut away from Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano's press conference about its review of the failed Christmas terror attack and subsequent recommendations to improve airline security smack dab in the middle, 28 minutes before it ended, in order to air the Glenn Beck show. Hosts Shepard Smith and Bret Baier complained that the press conference was not as "shocking" as they had expected it would be (read: they were hoping Napolitano would resign). By switching to Beck, Fox News proved it's more interested in shocking its audiences than reporting on measures to keep them safe. Video after the jump.
