Fox & Friends Get "Worst Person In The World" Gold

Reported by Priscilla - December 4, 2009 -

Last night, Keith Olbermann gave our favorite morning Foxies an award which reflects the superlative nature of their incisive and informative commentary on events of the day - an award for those who deserve the very best. Carlson, Doocy, and Kilmeade, of the Fox morning kids show and conduit for all things bright and beautiful in the conservative, Christian, Republican world, received the gold medal for "Worst Person in the World."

This mark of distinction was awarded for the nicely cropped video, on the Fox & Friends "propagandafest," of Jon Stewart's satire about "climategate" which, as Olbermann said, was their "scoop" that Stewart was denying global warming and, as noted by Brain (whoops Brian) Kilmeade, "taking a shot at Al Gore." Olbermann played the edited version and then the real one (which used a bad four letter word for intercourse and referenced Jesus in a satirical way). He then noted that Fox has been under some criticism lately for erroneous video footage and joked about how Fox might say that this video, one tenth of the original and "completely out of context," could have been made by a Fox "office assistant, a temp, or a homeless person off the streets who wandered into the control room and took over the show and couldn't possibly be another example of how Rupert Murdoch's moral sell outs committing journalistic three card monte to advance a political agenda...but even if they're paid to play patsies, they're still today's Worst Persons in the World."

Now that's what I'm talking about!
