Demonstrators Tell Glenn Beck: No Hate For Christmas
Reported by Ellen - December 4, 2009 -
Demonstrators gathered outside NYU to protest Glenn Beck's "Christmas Sweater" stage play being performed there last night. As ColorofChange.org's James Rucker wrote, "As he performed, ministers and people of faith from across New York City gathered outside the event with NYU students and ColorOfChange members, condemning Beckâs attempt to cloak himself in Christian values while continuing his race baiting and fear mongering on TV and the radio." Previously, the Harlem Gospel Choir canceled their participation in Beck's show. The video of Rev. Conrad Tillard's beautiful, eloquent speech, after the jump, is highly recommended.
Update: Think Progress reports that the show flopped in major cities.
