Fox News Overlooks Prejean Sex Tape In Report About Her Legal Settlement

Reported by Ellen - November 5, 2009 -

TMZ has this juicy nugget, posted November 4, 2009, 5:00 PM: Prejean Sex Tape Triggers Settlement. According to TMZ, Prejean immediately walked away from her demands for more than a million dollars from the Miss California USA Pageant once she saw "an XXX home video of her handiwork." TMZ said it had obtained the video months before but had decided not to post it due to its extremely graphic nature. "Let's just say, Carrie has a promising solo career," the site quipped.

So where's Fox News coverage of the right's "family values" darling revealing, shall we say, another perspective? Nowhere to be found, that I can tell. I watched about two hours of Fox News tonight and searched their "fair and balanced" websites only to come up - well, empty handed.

There is a foxnews.com report from AP dated November 3 on the settlement - sans the apparently new information about the sex tape. That same report is currently linked on the home page of Fox Nation, too, posted before the TMZ report. As I write this, it is 12:52 AM on November 5, ET, nearly 8 hours later.

Do you think that if there was allegedly a sex tape of John Edwards or Janeane Garofalo or Cindy Sheehan or Barney Frank or George Soros or Michael Moore or someone from ACORN that Fox News would not mention it?
