Chicago Dropped From Hosting 2016 Olympics, Beck Cheers For Obama's Failure

Remember back during the Dark Times (aka: the Bush era) when criticism of the president's handling of the Iraqi War was a big no-no in this country? God forbid that anyone, be it then Minority Leader Harry Reid or any anti-war activist, should speak the obvious and inconvenient truth about the conditions on the ground; they would have been called out by bully boy Hannity or Bill O'Reilly as unpatriotic or un-American, even going as far as to say that they were rooting for the other side to win. So I thought that in spite of all of Glenn Beck's attacks and lies this week on President Obama's attempts to persuade the International Olympic Committee to vote for Chicago as the site of the 2016 Olympics, the TV crybaby would at least have the decency to not add more insult to injury yesterday when we learned that Chicago got the ax in the first round.

But what did Beck do when the unfortunate news broke that all of Obama's efforts were for naught? He took to the airwaves to celebrate our President's failure!

This is not the first time Beck has felt no remorse for, or even expressed pleasure in, the suffering of other people. Take, for example, how Beck stated that he was sick and tired of hearing about the victims of the horriffic 9/11 attacks, and how victims of Hurrican Katrina were "scumbags"; or how during the '07 wildfires that ravaged my hometown of San Diego, Beck claimed that "A handful of people who hate America...are losing their homes in a forest fire today." And we all remember how this self-serving bastard exploited his own cerebal-palsy daughter to smear Obama's health care plan.

For a network who claims that they "like America," their talking heads sure have a funny way of showing it.
