Bill O’Reilly Omits Key Findings In Media Study And Calls Tina Fey A “Pinhead”

Reported by Priscilla - September 25, 2009 -

Bill O’Reilly proudly proclaimed that Sacred Heart University was a “patriot” because they did a study in which 30% of respondents said that Fox News was the most trusted. What Bill failed to note was that Fox News was also the least trusted at 26.2%. He also failed to note that in the rankings of most trusted news anchor, O’Reilly came in after Charles Gibson (19.8%), Brian Williams from the hated NBC (17.3%), Katie Couric (9.9%), Bill O’Reilly (9.3%). Tina Fey was named a “pinhead” because she provided a satiric response to a question, about Miley Cyrus’ “pole dance, after the Emmy Ceremony during which she won the coveted award. (Not as prestigious an award as Bill’s “Peabody’s” which were reported on in the Paris Business Review. Then there’s the recent “Media Courage Award” given by the American Taliban for Bill’s assisting in the campaign against the deceased Dr. Tiller.) But here’s the thing – if Bill O’Reilly doesn’t present the whole story, why should he be trusted? I guess the answer to that question has something to do with the old PT Barnum adage about suckers and trust….
