Glenn Beck Finally Spells "Oligarch" Correctly

At the beginning of his show Friday (8/28/09), Glenn Beck announced, "Last night, the liberal blogs were on fire” over his misspelling of the word “oligarchy” the day before. Although ostensibly mocking the liberal bloggers who pointed out that he had left out the “c” and spelled the word “oligarhy” in what he obviously thought was a clever word game of attacks and acronyms against President Obama, Beck’s smarmy, peevish correction indicated he was more rattled than he cared to admit. "So the liberal blogs… And they said that you couldn't learn, the progressives just wouldn't get it. What they taught us now is you can't spell ‘oligarch’ without the czars,” Beck said, with mean-spirited sarcasm. Video after the jump via Media Matters.
