More Companies Pull Ads From Glenn Beck

Here's the low down: a month ago, the TV crybaby went on Fox & Friends and made the baseless claim that President Obama was "a guy who has a deep-seeded hatred for white people or the white culture," then went on to call him "a racist." Two days later, Ellen reported that a civil rights group, ColorOfChange began asking for followers and anyone thoroughly disgusted by Beck's irresponsible comments to boycott the companies who advertise on the Glenn Beck Program. I personally thought that the organization's founder, James Rucker, would be wasting his time; that Beck would get off the hook and say something even dumber next time round, just for the hell of it.

What a difference a month makes.

Since Beck made those comments, Rucker's organization has been able to get three dozen companies to pull their ads away from Beck's show, and it shows no signs of slowing down, as DailyKos reports today that ten more companies have removed their ads away from the Glenn Beck program faster than a bat out of hell.

Here's the full list of companies that have distanced themselves from Beck's show: (Note: companies that have just pulled out are highlighted

For those keeping score at home - that's 46 companies he's lost since sticking his big foot in his mouth, and counting the sixteen he lost two days ago, that's 26 this week alone.

If I were Glenn, I'd make sure I haven't dried up all my tear ducts.
