As Sponsors Pull Out, We Ask: Is Glenn Beck F***ed?

If you were to tell me a month ago that right now Glenn Beck would be losing advertising faster than Sarah Palin lost her credibility - for putting the proverbial foot in his mouth when he proclaimed that Obama was "a racist," with "a deep-seated hatred for white people or white culture," - I would have bet twenty bucks that nothing would happen to the crybaby. Right now, I'd be $20 poorer, as Huffington Post reports Beck's program has just lost over a half a dozen more ad sponsors, including Wal-Mart, CVS, Best Buy, and GMAC. With video.

For those keeping score at home, Beck's show has lost 20 ad sponsors. To refresh your memory, here's a list of the companies Beck has lost thanks to his comments, courtesy of the organization who began the campaign because of said comments, ColorOfChange.org:

• Progressive Insurance
• Proctor & Gamble
• Lawyers.com
• Men's Wearhouse
• Sargento Cheese
• Wal-Mart
• Best Buy
• Travelocity
• Allergan (maker of Restasis)
• Ally Bank (a unit of GMAC Financial Services)
• Broadview Security
• Re-Bath
• Radio Shack
• Roche
• Sanofi-Aventis
• SC Johnson
• State Farm Insurance

And yet, the loss of advertising is only the half of it. ColorOfChange has also taken their message to the print and televised media. The New York Times has reported about the civil rights group’s campaign in the August 13th editon. MSNBC's Keith Olbermann has featured the organization's campaign on Countdown. Even Comedy Central's Steven Colbert has make a mockery of Beck's advertisers running away from the show!

Just how bad will this get for Beck? If I were him, I'd be praying that I don't get the pink slip from Ailes or Murdoch any time soon!
