Beck Loses Three More Advertisers Over “Obama Racist” Smears

As you know, the civil rights group ColorOfChange.org has begun a campaign calling for its members to write to the companies who advertise on Glenn Beck's show on Fox News. This was brought on when Beck infamously suggested on the July 28th edition of Fox & Friends that President Obama had outed himself as "a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture," and later called him "a racist."

Three days ago, I reported that the companies Progressive Insurance, Lawyers.com, and Procter & Gamble, have pulled their ads from Beck's show as a result of the organization's campaign. Today, ColorOfChange's founder, James Rucker, reported on Huffington Post that the car insurance company, GEICO, has pulled its advertising from Beck's program.

As the song from the band Queen goes, "Another one bites the dust / Another one bites the dust." Maybe now Glenn will at least restrain himself whenever he feels like shooting off at the mouth. I highly doubt it, but one can only hope.

UPDATE: Men’s Wearhouse and Sargento Cheese have pulled their ads too! (H/T to Think Progress.)

Here, if you can stand it, is the video of Beck calling President Obama a racist, courtesy of Crooks and Liars.
