Has Bill O'Reilly Seen The Hateful, Homophobic Comments In Fox Nation?

Reported by Priscilla - May 28, 2009 -

Remember when Bill O'Reilly claimed that Daily Kos was a hate site that was no different from the KKK and the Nazis. Hmmm... Wonder if O'Reilly has checked out some of the stuff on the Fox Nation website. Not surprisingly, Fox Nation posted a link to comments made by actress Charlize Theron regarding her dismay about the outcome of the Proposition 8 ruling and how she "doesn't agree with homophobia." The title of the lede article is Tolerant? Charlize Theron Calls Middle America "Homophobic." Not surprisingly, the article brought out the homophobes in Fox Nation. One suspects that the Fox Nation writers know exactly what kind of response they'll get which begs the question of why they're trying to keep hate alive. But back to Bill O'Reilly, that paragon of traditional American values - wonder what he thinks about the comments that I found. Oh I forgot, homophobia does seem to be a "traditional" value - at least in Fox Nation. What say you, Bill? And Fox Nation questioning the tolerance of Charlize Theron who DID NOT ACCUSE middle America of being homophobic - oh, the irony! This is what she said: "The battle for equality has to be fought in Middle America—in places like Fresno, Calif.—not just in gay-friendly cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. California's Central Valley population is far more reflective of national attitudes towards LGBT equality—and until we engage the communities of Middle America, we will not achieve full equality in California." But equality isn't a Fox Nation family value!
