Miller: I'm Not Paying Attention to Miss California – But Hey, How 'Bout That Miss California?

Isn't Miss California's fifteen minutes of fame up already? Sheesh. With video.

On Tuesday night's O'Reilly Factor (5/12/09), Bill O'Reilly hosted Dennis Miller to chat a little bit about Miss California.

O'Reilly stated, “Your pal, Donald Trump, said Miss California's okay . . . allowed to proceed as runner-up. And you say?”

Miller responded, “...He had to protect the brand... but listen, it was his fault from the get-go. I don't know why he has this Concepcion Ramada kid even as a . . . what's that? Oh, I'm sorry, I knew his name was a guy who played infield for Sparky Anderson's Big Red Machine . . . .” Ah, yes, that connection between Perez Hilton and Dave Concepcion, the guy who played for the Cincinnati Reds in the 70's. (And hey, all Hispanics are probably related anyway, all the names are alike, and all Hispanics are more or less interchangeable, right Miller?)

Naturally, O'Reilly didn't seek to clarify this nonsensical remark, except to say, “Perez.”

Miller continued, “It's Perez Hilton, not Concepcion Ramada, but I'm happy for Miss USA, or Miss California, whatever she is. How many people get summoned to testify for their God like that? I mean, she must be happy, she got to stand up – how good would that make you feel about yourself? And as far as provocative photos go from your youth . . . .”

Cue for Family Values Fox News Channel to flash photos of a provocatively posing Miss California.

“ . . . Billy, I remember when I first met you, you were 19 years old, we were in an auto show in Teaneck, New Jersey, you were standing there next to a revolving Z28 in a full board Jordan Newmark leather catsuit, and I look back on it, it doesn't seem provocative . . . .” Yeah, and for all we know, O'Reilly still dresses that way in private. I mean, his wife did allegedly date Flav a Flav.

But wait – Miller had all this commentary on Miss California testifying for her God (did she ask this God's permission before posing semi-nude, by the way?), all full of self-righteousness about denying gays the right to marriage in the name of religion or God or whatever, and yet, on the O'Reilly Factor on May 6th, Miller Time segment, Miller said, “My thing is to pass on (the John Edwards scandal). I'm not interested . . . I'm not paying attention to this, and I'm not paying attention to the nude pictures of Miss California – it's a crazy cluster-schtoop out right there . . . I'm not gonna take some of this crap in . . . .”

Glad to know that, at least on Fox News, we can count on one thing: Don't quote me, 'cause the facts may change.
