CNN reports this morning that the Fox Broadcasting Company will not air President Obama's press conference. Their two sister stations, Fox News and Fox Business Channel will carry the speech.

According to the article:

"CBS, NBC, and ABC have said they will pre-empt their regularly scheduled programs to air the president's news conference."

Curious, no? The justification for the decision is in the article and it actually makes good business sense. But, as the article points out:

[This is the] "...the first time a broadcast network has refused an Obama administration request for...airtime."

I'm biased so I suspect sinister political motives. But, even if I'm wrong, selling out the President for monetary interests strikes me as less than patriotic...

I think we should all ask ourselves, what would Jack Bauer do?
