Fox Business Website Publishes Press Release From Radical Anti-Abortion Randall Terry

Reported by Priscilla - April 9, 2009 -

The “controversy” surrounding the University of Notre Dame’s invitation for President Obama to give the commencement address and receive an honorary degree has reached the pages of the Fox News Business Channel website. The question is what connection this has to “business.” On March 24th, they ran a copy of a press release from radical anti abortionist Randall Terry, who is behind the initial protest about Obama’s visit, in which he announced that he would be speaking about how his mission is to “funnel energy into concrete action” and provide “shock troops" for the Notre Dame protest. Randall Terry’s sordid history includes attempting to send a dead fetus to President Clinton. According to the Notre Dame paper, “The Observer,” Terry says, regarding his on-going protest, “we will make this a circus.” Nice that Fox News would publicize his press conference. But judging from what I’ve seen on Fox, regarding the “controversy,” Terry and Fox could be soulmates. Terry’s comment, “I want you to just let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good…. Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a Biblical duty, we are called by God, to conquer this country. We don’t want equal time. We don’t want pluralism” is a great description of the “Fox Nation.”

Addendum: Will Fox discuss the eloquent article, in The Observer, in which the president of Notre Dame’s Alumni Association says "Respect and love ought to be extended also to those who think or act differently than we do in social, political and even religious matters.”?

Update: Fox Business News, March 26th, has yet another press release from Randall Terry about a video of his meeting with Catholic Archbishop Burke.

Update: In the interest of fairness, I should note that CNBC has picked up the same press releases from Randall Terry. (so much for the "liberal" media!). One wonders why Terry is e-mailing his press releases to business networks and why are they publishing them?
