O'Reilly On Name Calling: Whenever Anybody Calls You A Name, You Win

Reported by Ellen - April 7, 2009 -

On last night's (4/6/09) O'Reilly Factor, Bill O'Reilly responded to an emailer by suggesting that name calling is the tactic of someone who can't win an argument. "Whenever anybody calls you a name, you win," O'Reilly told a 16 year-old Obama critic. So I guess that means that when O'Reilly called Think Progress' Amanda Terkel "a villain," Hollywood a "Ditzocracy," and veteran journalist Helen Thomas "like the Wicked Witch of the East," it was because he couldn't win his argument on the merits. Video after the jump.
