"We Report, You Decide" FOX News Gives Sen. Vitter A Pass On Reported Airport Meltdown

Reported by Ellen - March 12, 2009 -

Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) was on Hannity last night (3/11/09) to hype discuss an alternative Republican economic plan. Yet, there were no questions, not even a mention, about the Transportation Security Agency's investigation into Vitter's reported meltdown at a Washington airport, much less about his role in the DC Madam sex scandal. This was quite a contrast to the hoopla FOX News made over Cynthia McKinney's scuffle with a Capitol Hill guard. That incident was deemed so important that it got a double segment and was the top story on Hannity & Colmes on April 6, 2007. I've not seen any discussion of Vitter's misbehavior (at the airport or with the Madam) on any FOX News show, either.
