Cavuto Doesn't Disappoint

When I learned that the Dow fell 486 points today (November 5, 2008), I knew immediately that Fox's "premiere business news" guy would use it to the GOP's his advantage. Sure enough, he didn't disappoint. While he did talk about declining gas prices "which generally indicates a recession," and about the ADP report influencing the "sell-off," the visuals painted a different picture:

In the days immediately after George Bush won re-election in 2004, the "business news" folks at Fox were talking about his "mandate," and the "Bush rally."

Looks like we're going back to the "Obama sell-off" meme. It's going to be a loooong four (or eight) years on Fox "business news."
