Neil Cavuto's Million Dollar Quote

Reported by Melanie - November 4, 2008 -

Here we go folks! Fox is already applying a different standard to Obama (assuming he wins) than it did to W.

For the nearly five years I've been monitoring Fox's "business news" guy, Neil Cavuto, he has dismissed any and all economic problems wrought by the Bush administration in one fell swoop with this rationalization, which he used as recently as last week: "There was the Internet bubble and what about that little thing called 9/11?"

But on this eve of possibly electing a Democrat to the White House, this is what he said today during an interview with Alexis Herman, the Labor Secretary under Bill Clinton: "At what point then...do you think it becomes the incumbent's economy? Um, is it a year after? In other words...the guy whose watch it is, is the guy whose responsibility it is?"

Comment: Speaks for itself, don't you think?
