FOX proves that propaganda works

Reported by Chrish - October 23, 2008 -

After a month of all-day bashing and fearmongring of voter fraud - oops, make that voter registration fraud - the FOX audience has been sufficiently prepared for the inevitable polling, which in turn reinforces the perception that their fears are indeed founded. It's a self-perpetuating circle of stupidity, like looking in a funhouse mirror, and FOX has mastered it, as we saw most recently with "drill here drill now."

Gretchen Carlson reported, as does the FOX News webite, that "most Americans think there will be extensive voter fraud in the upcoming presidential election. A FOX News poll released Wednesday shows 60 percent think it is either "very" likely, 28 percent, or "somewhat" likely, 32 percent, there will be widespread fraud in voting this year, and 35 percent think it is unlikely.

Furthermore, nearly half, 47 percent, think if there is fraud it is more likely to favor Democrats, while just over a third thinks it will favor Republicans, 35 percent.

Perthe website, "Opinion Dynamics Corp. conducted the national telephone poll of 900 likely voters for FOX News from Oct. 20 to Oct.21. The poll has a 3-point error margin. "

We've asserted from the start that the reason FOX and other right-wing media are trumpeting these isolated instances of ACORN volunteers falsifying applications and voters filling out multiple forms is to sow seeds of doubt about the election's outcome, in the likely event of an Obama win, to set the stage for protests and demands for recounts, drawing the election into the realm of the courts and out of the jands of the people. Again. Apparenlt the propaganda is working and the majority of those polled are fearful that Democrats are going to benefit from this so-called voter fraud.
