Outrageous Quote of the Week 10/11/08

Reported by Chrish - October 13, 2008 -

Last week, Bill O'Reilly "not" comparing US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to Hitler, "You know who used to do that, who practiced for hours before making a speech? And I'm not making any comparison here. So, don't -- you crazy left-wing websites out there, it's not a comparison. Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler practiced for hours, all of his -- all of his gestures and everything else before he went out there," barely edged out Bill O'Reilly screaming at United States Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA) "Stop the BS here! Stop the crap! From August '07 to August '08, under your tutelage, this industry declined 90%. ... People lost millions of dollars, it wasn't your fault! Come on you coward, say the truth!" Oy, that Bill, so independent, fair and balanced - he goes after both straight female US House Democrats and gay male US House Democrats. Let's ignore him this week and see what ratcheted up rhetoric FOX has fed us via their other tools:

Option A: " In the secrecy of the polling booth, I think I know who they'll be voting for and it's not going to be Obama either." Fred Barnes on the Clintons, Beltway Boys, 10/5/08

Option B: "You're talking about the equivalent of having a close relationship with Osama bin Laden." Dick Morris discussing Barack Obama's professional association with William Ayers, Hannity & Colmes 10/6/08

Option C: "America, do you want the legislative branch ... along with the executive branch dominated by the same party? If that happens, is that good for America? American for the most part likes a divided Washington DC." (Kilmeade)

"Checks and balances!" (Doocy)

Option D: "It could be more to the point that Obama has expressed a willingness to raise capital gains taxes, you could just be doing something convenient, and, and, trying to cash out before those taxes go up, right?" Neil Cavuto on why the stock market is falling, 10/10/08

Option E: " If they do conclude that she was too moved by her sister's divorce and put too much pressure on, it will probably be bruising, but not seriously." Newt Gingrich pre-emptive damage control for Troopergate, Neil Cavuto's (crazy mixed up) World, 10/10/08
