Dow Up 900+ Points on Barack Obama's Economic Plan

In a major speech today (October 13, 2008), Barack Obama proposed new economic measures and "the street" obviously loved them. The market just closed up 900+ points. The Dow has never gained so many points in one day.
The fact that Paul Krugman won the Nobel Prize in economics played a role too as did McCain's slumping &/or stagnant poll numbers.
