Troopergate on FoxNews.com: From Breaking News to a One Liner in Under 20 Hours
Reported by Melanie - October 11, 2008 -
Last night (October 10, 2008) at about 8:30 p.m. ET, when the "Troopergate" report involving Sarah Palin was released unanimously by 8 Alaskan Republicans and 4 Democrats, I though I'd check FoxNews.com to see how they were handling it. And then I decided to follow the story on Fox's site to see how long it took to disappear or to be hidden in plain sight.
Less than 24 hours.

This is the screenshot I took last night at 9:07 p.m. ET:
•••••10:37 p.m. ET last night:
•••••Approximately 7:40 a.m. ET this morning. The article has dropped to second place and the "panel" has turned into a "probe:"
•••••2:28 p.m. ET this afternoon. From "panel" to "probe" to "ethics inquiry," and Sarah's ready to move on:
•••••And, finally, this one from 4:24 p.m. ET this afternoon. Can you find it?
Comment: What Fox doesn't want you to know is that the
panel probe "ethics inquiry" found that Palin abused her power as governor. Haven't we had enough of that from the bozos who are in the White House right now? I mean, do we want to voluntarily, knowingly cast a vote for someone who has shown — it's a fact folks — that she is just like them? Fox is disappearing this story in their ongoing effort to get you to say, "Yes!"
UPDATE: The link in the last screenshot (above): • Palin Tries to Move Past Probe | VIDEO | REPORT (pdf), is dead. It goes nowhere.
Reminds me of this from this morning:
Fox is having a lot of, ahem, "technical difficulties" today. Imagine that.
