Total Information Awareness comes to England - FOX host approves

Reported by Chrish - October 6, 2008 -

A quick peek into the mindset that permeates the couch at FOX and Friends: this morning 10/0608 Gretchen Carlson read a headline story that says in "Britain" top secret plans have been leaked, that reveal the government's plan to monitor ALL phone calls, emails, and text messages.

A massive database is being created where all web traffic may be logged as well. Critics, she said, are calling the plans "stalking" and are worried about the "shocking" intrusion into privacy. Yeah, that might be a little much, she allowed.

Not so Brian Kilmeade, who dismissed it: "But if it gets the terrorists, hey!"

Everyone who wants to live in a TIA police state, raise your hand - and then go form your own 100% "safe" "secure" bubble of a country. The rest of us know life has risks and would like to keep some semblance of freedom in our country, including freedom from being constantly monitored by the government. If we're all suspects, nobody is free; we need to get to work rewriting the national anthem and the Constitution.
