Please Note: Bill O'Reilly Is Not Whining About #2 Spot On New York Times Best Sellers List

Reported by Deborah - October 3, 2008 -

You may recall that Bill O'Reilly, 9/30, claimed he was not comparing Nancy Pelosi to Hitler right before he compared Nancy Pelosi to Hitler. Last night, 10/2, in his Reality Checks segment BOR attacked Media Matters for checking that obvious reality. Then later in the segment, he pulled the same kind of stunt again.

O'Reilly bragged that his new book, A Bold, Fresh, Piece Of Humanity opened at #2 on the New York Times Best Seller List and then whined that even though his book sold more copies than the #1 book by Thomas L. Friedman, Hot, Flat and Crowded, he was unfairly put in the second slot. In fact, BOR was so upset about second place that he couldn't even pronounce Freidman's name correctly. Of course, he assured viewers that he was not whining. Sure thing Bill, we'll keep that in mind.

I was not able to find O'Reilly's book on the list dated for 10/05 showing Freidman at #1. However, there must be another list somewhere that shows him in #2 place.
