FOX guest derides MSNBC for hiring a lesbian, evidence of "left-wing agenda"

Reported by Chrish - September 9, 2008 -

This morning 9/9/08 FOX and Friends revisited yesterday's news that Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews have been replaced as anchors of 2008 election coverage. For a freah (ha) perspective, they invited Tim Graham of the right-wing Media Research Center on to comment. In his commentary, he noted Rachel Maddow's new program (9:00 ET) derisively, saying NBC's hiring of a lesbian further proves their left-wing agenda.

Note that Brian Kilmeade worries that "the damage has already been done," his inartful way of saying that too much criticism of Republicans has already been heard - nope, no bias there.

FOX has no room to criticize another network for bias, obviously. Their repeated use of the extremist MRC is a prime example of FOX's fear of letting their viewers get a truly fair and balanced look at the news. To hear this crew criticize others for bias is just too much. And that they have someone on whose homophobic views are so blithely expressed "among friends" is further proof that FOX is the destination station for the far right.
