Is FOX News Getting Preferential Treatment At The Democratic Convention?

Reported by Ellen - August 28, 2008 -

The National Journal reports that several FOX News personalities got waved through security ahead of hundreds of other folks. This is in keeping with what I witnessed at the security gates on Monday.

Just outside the first security gate you have to go through to get to the Pepsi Center, I was conducting some interviews among the crowd for the publication which got me my press pass when I heard one of the guards call out, "Is there anyone here from FOX News?" Naturally, that got my attention, particularly since it sounded like the guard was looking to wave someone from FOX through the gate.

Nobody responded. I was in the middle of an interview with someone hoping to get in so I did not have the opportunity to follow up.

It's disgusting to me that instead of making FOX News go to the back of the line where they belong, Democrats should give their enemy preferential treatment instead.

Reason number 1,572 that I am unlikely to rejoin the Party.
