Bill O'Reilly and Bernie Goldberg Analyze Michelle Obama's Success On The View

Bill O'Reilly went from Baracknaphobia to homophobia during his weekly segment with Bernie Goldberg and Jane Hall, 6/19/08. He devoted one half of the segment to analyzing the positive media response Michelle Obama received after her appearance on The View and the other half to freaking out in amazement over a Heinz Mayo commercial showing two guys kissing.

O'Reilly told Goldberg, " Whether you like the Obamas or not this Michelle Obama makeover in the media, flawlessly executed." Goldberg responded with a very revealing theory. "Liberals in general and the media in particular love the idea that these two are different. Different, not the same old same old. So they don't even try to hide their affection for them" O'Reilly's response was especially interesting. "They want them out of the closet and we want them in there."
