Outrageous Quote of the Week 6/7/08

Reported by Chrish - June 9, 2008 -

Bill O'Reilly's more dependable than Big Brown. Once again he took first place, saying

"Be that as it may, the really interesting part of this story is the vast left-wing conspiracy in the media. [snip] But — and this is important — there's no media counter for NBC News, Newsweek, The New York Times and dozens of other committed-left media. There's no right-wing media conspiracy."

As suspected, the closer we get to the fall election the more extreme the rhetoric, as evidenced by the bumper crop o' crap, after the jump.

Option A: "Don't hide your temper. Show it. Apparently, when you explode, it's a beaut. I think it shows your passion. And people respect passion. And who cares if they think it's nutty. I'll tell you what, dictators ain't exactly the Rock of Gibraltar. Nuts respect tempers. Winston Churchill had a huge temper, and it didn't hurt him any!" Neil Cavuto, Your World 6/6/08

Option B: "John McCain is not ever going to be an operatic orator but he is not the Chinese dinner that Barack Obama is. You never know what he said an hour later. Just like you never know what you ate when you have a Chinese dinner. What did he say? He gave some liberal drivel pap, the likes of which we've heard before." Mary Matalin contradicting herself in racially tinged terms about whether or not she understands Obama's positions, Hannity & Colmes 6/4/08

Option C: "People may get past it but ask this question. Would Colin Powell have trouble in this region? African-American and radical, that could be lethal." Brit Hume claiming Barack Obama lost the South Dakota primary because of his association with Jeremiah Wright, FOX Election HQ, 6/4/08

Option D: "(John Hagee) is someone who is not at the extremes of American life... This is someone who's a patriot... He is a serious and important actor in the pro-Israel movement." Daniel Pipes, Hannity & Colmes, 6/6/08

Option E: "(David Horowitz) said that all of his old associates, all of the left-wingers who he knew as a kid are now in the Obama campaign and he rattled off a whole bunch of names. These guys are not Democrats. These guys are, – Stalinist, is the phrase he used. And it gives you real pause... It's very hard for me to believe that this guy's a sleeper agent and a Manchurian candidate. On the other hand, you've got to look at it." Dick Morris, 6/2/08 Hannity & Colmes

Option F: "The sexism issue [in the Democratic campaign] is the issue that is pushing a lot of these women away from this campaign and they're — hey, you guys are really the darlings of, of the press as far as everybody is concerned which kind of makes me giggle a little bit, because they all sorta say yeah, they're fair and balanced." Geraldine Ferraro, Your World w/Neil Cavuto,
6-3-08

Option G: "There are two kinds of Hillary voters: The feminist, Democratic Party, pro-choice, middle-aged/elderly women and some men who are regular Democrats. And they're gonna vote for Obama anyway. And then you have the blue collar cops, firemen – largely men – who had to choose between racism and sexism and they decided to vote for Hillary." Dick Morris, on why Hillary Clinton would not be a good running mate for Obama, 6/2/08 Hannity & Colmes
